Drop off Summer Fun items for CityLife

Recently, we got to hear about Antonio Patton’s story and some of the work he is doing through City Life (a ministry of Youth For Christ) in Indianapolis. We asked Antonio and his colleagues if there was anything we as a church could provide to help them as they minister this summer to the youth in their neighborhoods. They came up with a list of summer fun items that they would love to have but don’t have the resources for. We are asking you, ZPC family, to get involved. Here's how you can help:

1. Use this signup as a suggested shopping list and shop for these goodies.
2. Package items in paper shopping bags (like the kind you can get at any grocery store) decorated with positive messages of love, hope, and encouragement such as Bible verses or colorful drawings.
3. Drop them off at the coffee/donut area in the ZPC Gathering Space at from 9 am to 4 pm until July 3.  

Items will be delivered in early July and there is an opportunity for ZPCers to bring the items downtown and tour some of the Citylife neighborhoods in small groups with Antonio and his colleagues to hear information about how to become more involved. There are spots to sign up for the tour on the same signup as the shopping items. There are going to be volunteer opportunities to help put some of these very items, such as fishing rods and grills, to use this summer with City Life youth.
