Our call is to look more like Jesus.

One way to do this is to learn more about God in community with others. Please consider the following groups, classes, and events that ZPC is offering.

Adults

ZPC Home Groups are the most effective way to build relationships through discussing and applying the sermon scripture, and praying and serving together.

Our groups meet for three sessions each year. [Remaining sessions for this year are: Jan 14-March 17; April 7-May 19].

Every Thursday, 9-11:30 am

Location: Room 202

We sew warm quilts for the women of Horizon House and other organizations that serve the homeless. We also knit warm hats to go with each quilt, and prayer shawls for anyone going through a difficult time. Recently, some of the women have made dresses for children in Haiti. We share our lives and prayer concerns during a devotional time at the end of each gathering.

SPIRITUAL FORMATION CLASS | SUNDAY | 9 AM | CHAPEL

Lenten Study of the writings of Evelyn Underhill

This class will focus on short, daily readings by Evelyn Underhill. Underhill is one of the outstanding modern writers on the interior life. She wrote from the perspective of living in two worlds – natural and supernatural. She advocated a distinctive type of contemplative life that emphasized a sense of community rather than a focus on the individual. During her lifetime and since her death in 1941 many have found in her writings the understanding they need as they strive to live an inward spiritual life in the Christian tradition.

THINKING BIBLICALLY | SUNDAYS | 9:15-10:20 AM | ROOM 206

Genesis 1-11 - Primeval History

Join this group as they examine Genesis and the dialogue between Yahweh Elohim (the Lord God), Adam, and Eve, and the aftermath of their choice.

Up next is C.S. Lewis and his The Screwtape Letters. Each Sunday we will read aloud two or three of these letters, in order to glean from them who we are in a world of good and evil. We look forward to moments of interactive dialogue.

All adults along with middle schoolers and high schoolers are welcome to join.

Women

Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) Mondays | 6:50-8:30 pm

Women of all ages around the world have the opportunity to study the Bible together, exploring the meaningful questions of life, going deeper in their relationship with Jesus Christ and connecting with other women in conversations about things
that matter.

Group members spend time in personal Bible study during the week with questions that prompt deeper thought. Once a week they meet in-person or online for small group discussion. They also have access to teaching that applies the truths of scripture to daily life along with comprehensive lesson notes on the passage
they studied.

Join us on Monday evenings as we study John, or find other class days and times, by going to joinbsf.com.

Men

ZPC Men believe in the mission of the church and are disciples who make other disciples. We accomplish this by connecting with other ZPC Men, build healthier relationships with family and friends and deepen our intimacy with God. We also have a heck of a lot of fun through events and get-togethers!
All are welcome!
