“For the grace of God has appeared bringing salvation to all.” Titus 2:11
It’s Christmas Eve, tomorrow the anticipation is strong! Soon we will be celebrating Christmas with our friends and families.
Visualize how your life would be different if God had never been born on Christmas morning. Contemplate how it would feel to live without a relationship with God or the promise of salvation, through forgiveness. Reflect how it would affect your time, talents, treasures, and your identity.
Some of our family members who we will be seeing soon, might live in this reality. Not fully knowing God’s grace and salvation. How can we bring the love of God and the gift of grace into our families this Christmas? If you know, please text me. In the meantime, I’m asking God to show me how to love like him, to know when to keep my mouth shut, and how to have generosity and grace with my family. I pray this will show a glimpse of the life we have in Christ. This verse promises us Christ has enough for all who are open to have salvation. It’s there for all to see this coming Christmas morning.
Activity
Enjoy 3 deep breaths, sit in silence and reflect on what Jesus being born means to you.
Prayer
God, Thank you for the birth of your son to express God’s extravagant love for humanity. Thank you that we’ll never have to experience life apart from you. We humbly intercede for our loved ones who don’t know your grace yet to see glimpses of it this Christmas season and receive the ultimate gift this year – salvation. Amen!
