The overall intent of this class is to be shaped by the Scriptures, and those who accurately reflect them, so that we might live and think faithfully in a world shaped by forces alien to the Scriptures.
This year (Fall 2024 through Spring 2025), as we in worship encounter and ponder afresh the life of Moses, our class will be re-viewing Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount. The class will consider the idea of Jesus as the “New Lawgiver.”
This class is for all who want to grow deeper in Christ, particularly as we give careful, dialogical thought to Jesus’ words. One need not have shared in any of our previous discussions and/or classes. All are welcome, middle school and beyond.
