ZPC Home Groups are the most effective way to build relationships through discussing and applying the sermon scripture, and praying and serving together. Our groups meet for three sessions each year. [2024/25 sessions are: Sept 15-Nov 17; Jan 12-March 16; and April 6-May 18]. Women's Great Banquet #145 Men’s Great Banquet #146 Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) Mondays | 6:50-8:30 pm Women of all ages around the world have the opportunity to study the Bible together, exploring the meaningful questions of life, going deeper in their relationship with Jesus Christ and connecting with other women in conversations about things Group members spend time in personal Bible study during the week with questions that prompt deeper thought. Once a week they meet in-person or online for small group discussion. They also have access to teaching that applies the truths of scripture to daily life along with comprehensive lesson notes on the passage Join us on Monday evenings as we study Revelations, or find other class days and times, by going to joinbsf.com. We have a social every season and an ongoing Bible study called Stretch Marks that meets 2-3 Mondays a month at 7 pm. Also on Mondays from 8:30-9 pm is a simple time of praying over our marriages, children, families, communities, nation, and world. Join us on Mondays from 8:30-9 pm on Zoom. If you are in your late 40s through retirement...you are probably a Freebird! (If you have children, you qualify when your FIRST child graduates from high school. It's fine to have more kids still in school!) GRACE MARRIAGE Grace Marriage Intentional Date Nights are a way to invest in your marriage with pupose. Each session offers unique mini-teaching lessons on Biblically-based topics, time for self-reflection, and a lot of one-on-one time with your spouse to process those ideas. Flexible in timing and place. Multiplies. These words describe Heart to Heart Discipleship at ZPC. We'd love to help you intentionally grow as a follower of Jesus! This relationship with another woman provides: Heart to Heart partners utilize Destined resources. These four books cover personal growth and training elements that equip individuals to walk with Christ and assist others to do the same. ; Every Thursday, 9-11:30 am Location: Room 202 We sew warm quilts for the women of Horizon House and other organizations that serve the homeless. We also knit warm hats to go with each quilt, and prayer shawls for anyone going through a difficult time. Recently, some of the women have made dresses for children in Haiti. This fall they will be studying the book of Joshua. + Phil Carr [317.513.1430] MOMENTS WITH MARK | NOVEMBER 1- 2 Moments with Mark is an in-depth, dialogical study focusing upon Jesus’ power both over the natural and the supernatural world; his call to believe; hIs sending forth his disciples; and Herod’s beheading John the Baptist – all leading to his feeding 5,000. Registration will be limited to 25 participants. We will be using The Great Opening, Vol. 1, a working resource written by Stan, we will encourage a mix of time for personal study and then time for interactive sharing. We will learn individually and together. We will meet on November 1 and 2 – On Friday, from 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm and on Saturday from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. Cost is $25, which will include food Friday evening and Saturday morning, and The Great Opening, Volume 1. Childcare is available. The MomCo at ZPC | Friday mornings September through April + Playdates | approx. 2x a month | 9:30 am- 12 pm | ZPC Chapel The MomCo (formerly MOPS) is an international nonprofit organization with over 2,500 chapters for moms of infants to kindergartners. The MomCo provides an opportunity to meet other moms and take the journey of motherhood together. The MomCo at ZPC exists to equip, encourage, develop, and nurture moms. A typical meeting includes coffee, brunch, childcare, fellowship, a speaker, and small group discussion. Social gatherings and playdates take place throughout the year. We gain possession of this freedom in proportion to our growth and perfection in love, in faith, and in hope. THINKING BIBLICALLY | SUNDAYS | 9:15-10:20 AM | ROOM 208 The overall intent of this class is to be shaped by the Scriptures, and those who accurately reflect them, so that we might live and think faithfully in a world shaped by forces alien to the Scriptures. This academic year (Fall 2024 through Spring 2025), as we in worship encounter and ponder afresh the life of Moses, our class will be re-viewing Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount. The class will consider the idea of Jesus as the "New Lawgiver." This class is for all who want to grow deeper in Christ, particularly as we give careful, dialogical thought to Jesus’ words. One need not have shared in any of our previous discussions and/or classes.
