ZPC is excited to continue partnering with Youth for Christ in serving our Crooked Creek neighbors. Through the leadership of Krysta Jordan, City Life Crooked Creek Director, we aim to build relationships and meet tangible needs in the community around Michigan Road and Westlane Middle School.
Current Opportunities to Serve
Mentorship: Join us in leading small groups at Westlane Middle School. We are looking for volunteers to mentor 7th and 8th-grade boys and girls (a weekly, one-hour time commitment).
Food & Clothing Donations: Help provide healthy snacks and new/gently used clothing for students in need. Drop off donations once a month in a basket in Krysta Jordan’s ZPC office. Also, help with an additional opportunity to provide families in need non-perishable food items or Aldi gift cards.
Hospitality: Bring joy to Westlane teachers and staff by providing and delivering snacks once a month to Westlane Middle School.
Food Pantry: Volunteer at the Fay Biccard Glick Food Pantry to help unload food trucks and serve clients on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month from 1 pm until 2:30 pm.
We believe God is already at work in this community, and we are honored to walk alongside our neighbors in love and humility. Please consider joining us in this important ministry.
