Adults who love and understand youth spend time living life alongside a group of 4 to 8 teens of the same gender. Groups gather regularly for prayer, accountability, study, and fun. New groups are launched each fall or as God leads throughout the year.
First Serve Opportunity: Attend a small group leader's meeting or meet one on one with a veteran small group leader to hear why they love being a youth small group leader!
Each Sunday morning energetic and growing 6-8th graders gather for worship and biblical teaching. Volunteers who love and understand youth fill multiple roles each week. They build relationships, lead a discussion group on the topic of the morning, help with registration or tech and are invited to teach.
First Serve Opportunity:
discussion group leader-Mingle with the students as they arrive, worship alongside them, participate in the lesson and then watch a veteran discussion leader lead a small group of students through a series of questions on the topic of the morning.
Every other Sunday 6th-8th graders gather for food, games, hang-out time, authentic worship, and teaching that relates to real life! Volunteers help with the concession stand, run big group games, make students feel welcome, and help plan special events!
First Serve Opportunity: Come see what the buzz is all about and see where you might fit best! We meet every other Sunday in the youth hall from 5:30 to 7:30pm through the school year!
This is the entry point to Radical Student Ministries and the 6th grade membership class. It is a time of growing deeper in faith, closer in relationships and stronger in theology. Youth Inquirers meets every other Sunday night from 5:30 to 7:30 through the school year. Adults serve as discussion group leaders, in the concession stand and event coordinators.
First Serve Opportunity: Set up a time to meet with the lay directors to learn more about what Youth Inquirers is and the exciting service possibilities available!
High school students meet Sunday mornings in a casual atmosphere where they are challenged to grow spiritually by diving into God's word and applying that truth to their lives. In addition to helping with set up and mingling with the students, Adult volunteers lead discussion groups, worship, mixers, and up front games.
First Serve Opportunities:
Discussion Leader-Mingle with the students as they arrive, participate in the lesson and then lead a casual discussion (questions provided) with about four students.
Tech- Shadow our technical leader for the morning as he runs the PowerPoint or helps set-up video clips.
Registration- Shadow the greeter at the nametag table and help kids feel welcome as they arrive!
Oasis is a time where our high school students can take a break from their hectic lives of practices, homework, chores, and after school jobs. It's an hour where they can relax and fellowship with other students, munch on yummy snacks, and hear a short devo. Adult volunteers hangout with students (chat, throw the Frisbee, etc.) and provide the snacks.
First Serve Opportunities:
Yummy Snacks-Bring a homemade snack or dessert for approximately 15 students.
Hang Out-Come check out what goes on at Oasis. Chill with students, get to know a few you hadn't met before, have some fun, and participate with the group.
The goal College Connection is to keep our students connected with ZPC after graduation. We show them love while they are away at school by sending out care packages. When they are back in town for Christmas and Summer breaks by provide them opportunities to fellowship together.
First Serve Opportunity: Boxing- Come by yourself or enlist your small group to help us purchase and box goodies to send to our students during finals this Fall and Spring.
