Time: Noon – 12:45 pm
The season of Lent is a time set aside in the church for spiritual renewal and growing in faith. On Ash Wednesday, which kicks off the Lenten season, we seek a fresh start by saying yes to the Lord’s invitation to walk with him. Though we bring plenty of baggage on our journey, Jesus reminds us that his yoke is easy and his burden is light asking only that we set our hearts on him. This is the goal of our Lenten season: setting our whole selves – heart and mind, body and soul – in complete trust and utter commitment, on the Triune God.
